YSL's Nude Photo to Go Up for Sale

YSL's Nude Photo to Go Up for Sale: "

Before Marc Jacobs glistened like a Christmas ham against a silver Mylar backdrop to promote his new men's cologne, Bang, Yves Saint Laurent did his own designer Zoolander shoot nearly 40 years ago. Come June 30, a photograph of the now-iconic 1971 black-and-white advert for men's eau de toilette Pour Homme will be up for auction at Christie's in Paris, along with over 60 other images from photographer Jeanloup Sieff. Expected to fetch between $3,000 and $22,000, the once controversial pic is pretty tame compared to the house's more recent fragrance campaigns. Besides Sophie Dahl's breast-clutching, arched-back nude shots for Opium, there's the male full-frontal for M7, conspicuously lacking in strategically placed bottles.
