Mary Kate & Ashley Olsen elaborate on their keen sense of minimal luxury for the Resort 2011 collection at The Row. The collection stays within the same parameters of the previous season which marked the runway debut for the iconic young designers. Looks were simply minimal and accented with quaint luxe touches styled to the t to create perfectly balanced silhouettes.
The collection takes cues from both of the Olsen twins personal styles mixing MK’s boho musings with Ashley’s tailored sartorial whit. Most notable amongst individual pieces are the inky blue tweed blazer and jet black alligator vest.
All in all, this season The Row confirms that the Olsens are most certainly not to be overlooked as voices on the forefront of modern minimal design.
